Your dreams are yours.

Effective 11 October 2026. Chief Dreamer is run by Modern Mustard Seed LLC, Kalispell, Montana ("we").

The short version

We store what you save through Chief Dreamer and the email address you sign in with. That is it.
We never see your Claude conversations. Claude sends us only the details a tool needs, such as a dream's title.
Our server never sends your words to any AI model, and we never use your data to train one.
We do not sell, rent or share your data, and we show no ads.
You can export everything or delete everything at any time, yourself, in one step.

What we collect

Account: your email address and when you signed up and last signed in. Our sign-in provider also records sign-in events, including the IP address used, to protect accounts from abuse.
What you save: dreams (title, description, why it matters, kind, horizon, status), your profile (hours a week, budget, savings available, skills, energy, values, non-negotiables, time zone, notes), fit scores with the inputs behind them, first proofs and milestones, and check-ins with their notes.
Activity history: a log of what happened in your account (for example "dream captured" or "check-in logged") with dates. It is part of your export.
Connected apps: the name and return address of each app you approve, such as Claude, and its access tokens. We store tokens only as one-way hashes.
Usage counts: how many tool calls your account made this minute and today, used only to apply fair-use limits. Kept for two days.
Service logs: for each tool call, the tool name, how long it took and whether it worked. No arguments, no dream content. Our host also keeps standard request logs, including IP addresses, for up to 30 days.

We do not collect payment details, location, contacts, or anything from your device beyond what a web request carries.

How we use it

Only to run Chief Dreamer for you: to save and return your dreams, compute scores and due dates, sign you in, keep the service secure, and fix problems. We may email you about your account or a material change to this policy. We do not send marketing email.

We do not read your dreams. If you report a problem and ask us to look, we access only what is needed to fix it.

Who processes it

Supabase stores the database and runs sign-in, in the United States (us-east-1).
Vercel hosts the website and the server.
Resend delivers the sign-in emails.

Each processes data only to provide its service to us. When you use Chief Dreamer inside Claude, your conversation with Claude is governed by Anthropic's own privacy policy, not this one.

How long we keep it

Your account and everything you saved stay until you delete them. Deleting a dream removes it and everything attached to it immediately. Deleting your account removes your email, every dream, your profile, your history and every connected app immediately; we keep no copy. Usage counts expire after two days and service logs after 30 days.

Your controls

Export: download JSON or Markdown from your account page, or ask Claude to export your Chief Dreamer data.
Correct: change any dream or profile detail through Claude.
Disconnect: sign out every connected app from your account page, or remove the connector in Claude.
Delete: delete a dream, or your whole account, from Claude or your account page.

Wherever you live, you have these rights. If you cannot use the controls above, write to us and we will do it for you within 30 days.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Every table enforces row-level security, so one account can never read another's data, and that rule is tested. Access tokens are short-lived and stored only as hashes. Report security issues to sarah@modernmustardseed.com.

Children

Chief Dreamer is for people 16 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger; if you believe we have, write to us and we will delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will update the date above and tell signed-up users by email before the change takes effect.
